Built in Office Furniture in Wimbledon, London

We provide our Bespoke Furniture service in Wimbledon, South West London, not far  from our Lewisham Studio. Fitted Home Office, Walk In Wardrobe and Fitted Wardrobes are three services we are getting most enquiries. Recently we received an enquiry from a City worker in Wimbledon.

Lockdown has been in place for more than two years and working from home is a norm now. Our client felt that a dedicated space for working at home is good for his work as well as the physique. Interestingly, our client came to us through our Instagram post of a built-in office and became curious about how he could get one for his small shared place.

Challenges of a Small Room for Built in Office

Challenge on us was to make the most of the small space. We realised that space maximising features are required to make the room spacious. The shape of the room and the amount of Documents, Files, Stationeries, Electronics and Gadgets inspired our Designers to come with a Fitted Home Office solution of narrow, low profile custom-designed furniture. Every inch of the space was laid out, different layers of shelving were designed to meet his needs. The desk was designed with a double layered fitting with the bottom layer given ample space to keep his gadgets and stationeries. The top was given for his work space with multiple screens and his favourite plant. The area above was designed for the shelving to accommodate his Files & Documents. On to the right, we have given dedicated space for all his electronics, including a TV to stream.

With the work space designed, we then showed a design of Book shelf for the other side, our designers noticed the collection of his priceless Books and the Designer came up with an idea of bespoke book shelf. The bookshelves on that side was challenging, as they had a wide alcove on that side, however a scaled design was accommodating that shape. Client was impressed with the 3d designs and he approved the complete design of Fitted Home Office.

We took two weeks to build this at our London Studio and mailed the client for a suitable date and on that day our professional fitters arrived on time and installed the fitted Home Office to perfection! A real transformation of the small room to a dedicated home office.
