We received a Free Home Design visit request from a client in Romford asking whether we can quote for a fitted bedroom. Our designers went to their home and discussed their requirements.

As in many homes, space management was one of the challenges, the bedroom was a standard room, neither small nor large and the room already had a bed and bench.

Creating a space-saving fitted bedroom with bespoke wardrobe, bedside furniture requires careful planning and consideration of your available space.

We started by evaluating their wardrobe requirements, we took note of the clothing, accessories, and other items they want to store. We discussed the different types of storage solutions like hanging space, shelves, drawers, and shoe racks.

The space around was not much, so we maximised the vertical space. Utilising the full height of the bedroom, we made a floor-to-ceiling wardrobe fitting seamlessly into the available space, maximising the storage capacity afforded by the room.

The space saving measure we introduced like the pull-out drawers and hanging compartments optimised the use of available space.

The space adjacent to the bed was utilised by giving a side table/with single drawers on either side with open space underneath where a side table was made to keep it underneath.

This multifunctional furniture pieces complemented the room while utilising all the space.
