Why did this particular fitted wardrobes for our client in Camden?
Clients apartment was a modern built with good ceiling height. They had a designer bed and engineered wood from trade flooring U.K. Apartment while was spacious, the room was shaped in such a way that there isn’t space in front or on the right side of the bed. The room was coloured in greyish blue, an uncommon colour, however they made it stunning with the bed and the lighting. Challenge before us was to come up with a wardrobe in the available space and match it to the room. We had a site visit and our designers shown a Sliding Door Wardrobe with wider internal shelves to make them more accessible and bedside cabinets matching the wall and the bed. Client immediately approved the design and was installed in 4 weeks time .
The best aspect about built-in wardrobes is that you are involved in the design process. You can design and built the closet that fits the rest of your décor in terms of finishes and style. Here, we used the elegant greyish blue with long handle complementing the modern-style room. This design has accommodated the storage while creating a fabulous design.
On our visit, they were considering a free standing wardrobe and asked why not the free standing wardrobe. We have shown them what they can achieve, how they can save the space and how seamless the bespoke design is by building the wardrobe on the same style, colour and pattern as their bedroom. Compared to freestanding wardrobe, the built in wardrobe is there to last for years. The built-in wardrobe gives lot of options when it comes to colours, finishes, and door types.
